Who we are
Unity & Trust Foundation is a transnational global learning initiative and organisation supporting education, skills and cultural exchange. We exist to connect passionate individuals across borders through volunteering, internship, and work experience. In Malawi, we help bridge the gap between international volunteers and local organizations. By facilitating these exchanges, we foster cultural understanding and create opportunities for mutual growth. We believe that sharing ideas and skills is key to enriching both the volunteer and the Malawian community.

Healthcare
A healthy community is intricately linked to a happier and less dependent community. Healthcare services especially in the remote rural villages and small towns in Malawi are limited. Volunteers will be involved in community development through advocacy in sexual and reproductive health and wellbeing. Nutrition, HIV, water and sanitation and malaria prevention. Placement availability as volunteer in under 5’s clinics helping promote the healthy development of new born babies to under 5 children.
Education
Malawians are enthusiastic about pursuing education. Nonetheless, numerous rural schools face significant resource shortages, and educators lack the resources to properly teach the large student populations. As a volunteer/global learner you will contribute to enhancing the skills of local teachers, fostering a greater appreciation for both academic and extracurricular subjects, thereby boosting school participation and inspiring the community through the exchange of your own expertise.
Agriculture
Through collaborative efforts between local farming communities, global learners, and volunteers, this agriculture project aims to drive positive impact, sustainable development, and empowerment within Malawi's agricultural sector. It aspires to create a platform for knowledge transfer, capacity building, and long-term resilience in farming practices to support the country's agricultural development objectives.
