Discover Our Purpose and Mission
Unity & Trust Foundation is a transnational global learning initiative and organisation supporting education and cultural exchange. Our aim is to create a greater degree of connection between individuals, communities and societies across borders, bringing about changes in the social, cultural, economic and political landscapes of societies of origin and destination.
Building bridges between different cultures requires more than just interaction. It demands a deep exploration of our own embedded values. Cultural evolution hinges on individuals stepping outside their comfort zones and encountering different worldviews. Without this exposure, ingrained biases and prejudices persist, dividing us rather than uniting our shared humanity.
As a foundation, we are committed to creating a positive impact on both our participants and the host country of Malawi. We offer a range of opportunities, including volunteering, internships, multicultural exchange programs, and teaching (at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels), as well as public health, general health and wellbeing programs, and civic and community engagement initiatives. Through these programs, participants can develop valuable skills, build a sense of community, boost their self-esteem, and increase their chances of finding job opportunities.
